Previously, this park was called Zagorodny – located out of the city. And thanks to an inspiring story, it has got a different name. On 31 May 1837 Tsesarevich (crown prince) Alexander, the future Emperor Alexander III, visited that place during his trip to Siberia. According to a legend, he even planted a tree on the bank of the Tura river.
Since then, many years have passed, but the Tyumen citizens still love this park. That is a truly romantic place, especially favorite for photo sessions. By the way, the Bench of Reconciliation is located here, which, people say, reconciled many of the quarreled lovers.
