Walking in the city center, you can easily find yourself in a fairy tale. Two minutes from the Tobolsk Kremlin there is a garden dedicated to the famous writer Pyotr Yershov.
The main attraction of the square is the first and so far the only monument to the storyteller in Russia. Next to him, the Humpbacked Horse froze in a dive. A little lower – at the very feet of Peter Pavlovich – the Miracle (Chudo-Yudo) Fish-Whale took place, on the back of which you can see the Tobolsk Kremlin. Townspeople are sure that their city is that very place of the the famous fairy tale.
Passing under the shady crowns of trees, you will see other favorite heroes from childhood – the Firebird, Ivan the Fool, the King, ready to jump into the boiling pot.
Do not miss the opportunity to plunge into the fairy tale.
