The house of the Russian nobleman and Decembrist M.I. Muravyov-Apostol is the main exhibit of the Yalutorovsk Museum. There are three memorial rooms reconstructed: a living room, hall, and office. Entering the building you immediately immerse into that distant time. And all thanks to a lot of unusual and unique things that belonged to the Decembrists. After all, there were a lot of them in this house. For example, once Wilhelm Küchelbecker stayed at Matvey Ivanovich’s to rest from the road and improve his health. Not for nothing, the highest value of the museum is the photos of the Decembrists who were Muravyov-Apostol’s friends or stopped in Yalutorovsk.
