On this journey you will follow the path of “Tobol” film and feel the atmosphere of the 18th century. You will visit one of the most interesting Russian regions famous for its rich historical heritage which is called “The Gates to Siberia”. Walk through these gates and you will see misterious, vast and miraculous Russia.
Day 1. The program starts with a city tour “Tyumen – the Gates to Siberia”. You will find out more about the history of the first Siberian city, walk around the historical part of the city admiring monuments of the wooden architecture unique for their platbands with dimensional carvings. You will have a chance to visit Tyumen river embankment and famous among citizens place – Bridge of Lovers.
Right after the city tour, there is a visit to the thermal hot springs where water temperature is never below 38 degrees Celsius.
Day 2. Continuing your journey on the Siberian land, you wll visit the museum of Grigory Rasputin in the village of Pokrovskoe. You will see personal items of the family, original pictures with dedicatory inscriptions and Rasputin’s personal notes.
Thermal water has healing properties that positively affect your body. Therefore, you are able to relax in water, enjoy the Siberian nature around and breathe in fresh air.
The next stop on the route is the father of Siberian cities – Tobolsk. You will walk on the territory of the Tobolsk Kremlin which has become a special symbol of the Russian state power. It can be justly called the Pearl of Siberia. The shooting of the historical drama “Tobol” took place there. You are lucky to be able to visit the “Settlement of Siberian old-timers” shooting site and live through the atmosphere of Peter the Great times on the land of stout-hearted men.
Day 3. At the end of the program you will visit the Prison Castle where the film production company “SOLVIS” has made an exposition devoted to the film “Tobol”.
You will also visit the Viceroy Palace, Nicholas II family museum, Tobolsk Provincial museum, Gostiny Dvor, Renterey and take a walk in Yermak Garden.
